The odds were against me but I still made my dream come true.
I could have a million excuses why I can’t make it in life.
I could list a 100 reasons why I have it hard and why it makes no sense to even start pursuing my dream.
I am a minority (a Jew, omg!).
I was (and still am) an immigrant.
I come from a lower class household.
My father left me when I was 4 (never saw him again).
I was bullied A LOT.
I am not special in ANY way.
There are people close to me that don’t believe in my vision.
So why should ANYTHING I desire work out?
Trust me when I say, that I could make the list LONG.
But do I allow these things to stop me?
No, I don’t.
I know for a fact that the only benefit that comes from making excuses is the fact that you legitimise staying in your comfort zone. It is easier to stay in a familiar environment, than to do things you’ve never done and to face your fears over and over again.
Before I started my business, I didn’t know anyone who’d done the same.
I didn’t know what I was doing.
I didn’t know if I would ever succeed.
All I knew was that I will not give up and do whatever it takes.
Because I have a vision.
I believe in my vision.
And I know that living my life’s purpose (insert drama here) is more important than playing small and not taking any risks.
After I finished my OT degree, I went all in. I started my coaching business.
I didn’t test the waters. I knew that they were cold and deep.
And not even a year later, I was doing this full-time.
I think it’s crazy and I STILL can’t believe that this is REAL life.
But it is. And you are FULLY capable of creating the life that you truly desire, no matter what it is. All you need is courage and commitment.
It is so much easier than you could possibly imagine…
